Our Neighborhood of Firefighters Needs YOU to Volunteer!
The Millstone Township Fire Department was dispatched to Pinehill Road and Stevenson Ave for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Engine 3275 (Maloney) arrived to find an SUV versus two separate fences, including one with several stone posts, with the driver entrapped. The Engine crew stabilized the vehicle with cribbing, stretched an 1 3/4″ land line for fire protection and utilized several Holmatro tools to remove both drivers side doors as well as the B post. Assistance was received by the crews of Rescue 3285 and Telesqurt 3290. Personnel assisted EMS with patient removal and packaging. The patient was transported to the Millstone Middle School at 5 Dawson Court where Squad 57 of the Monroe Township Fire District #2 had established a landing zone for MONOC 1. The patient was transported by MONOC 1 to Robert Wood Johnson. The accident was investigated by the New Jersey State Police.
On Sunday December 11th Santa visited Millstone Township not by sleigh but by our own fire engines. It was a perfect day for Santa as the weather was cold with a few snow flurries late in the afternoon. Santa was greeted by many of our townships children with big smiles and some with a laundry list of gift ideas. Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy holiday season from the Millstone Township Fire Company.
