The Millstone Township Fire Department was dispatched to 444 Monmouth Road for a motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment. Engine 3275 (South) arrived to find a BMW sedan overturned onto its passenger side, against a tree, with the driver entrapped. A private ambulance service, which was passing by was providing care to the driver. The engine crew stabilized the vehicle with Junkyard Dogs stabilization struts and additional cribbing. The engine crew began to remove the roof with hydraulic rescue tools and a sawzall and were assisted by the crew from Rescue 3285 (J.Carbin). Freehold Independent Fire Company (Sta. 16-1) was requested for one engine to handle a landing zone, however a medevac was unavailable due to weather. Once the extrication was completed the patient was transported by Freehold First Aid Squad (15-21) and MONOC ALS to Jersey Shore Medical Center. The patient later succumbed to their injuries. The accident was investigated by the NJSP.

As a serious thunderstorm struck the region, the Millstone Township Fire Department was dispatched for one engine as part of a second alarm assignment in Hightstown. The fire reported at 46 Powell Road quickly went to a 3rd alarm, as initial units arrived to find heavy fire conditions through the roof of a condominium building with reports of victims trapped. Engine 3275 (Gesualdo) and Deputy Chief J.Wagner (3267) arrived and were assigned to division 2 for fire attack. The engine crew threw a ground ladder and stretched a 2.5″ handline to the interior encountering heavy fire conditions. The engine crew worked to get a knock on the fire as additional companies gained entry to multiple second floor housing units. The engine crew was forced to back out briefly, but was able to re-enter and extinguish the fire involving a unit on the A/D side of the building. The crew operated for a total of 4 hours along with a multitude of departments from Mercer, Middlesex, and Monmouth Counties before being released by command.

The Millstone Township Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving 3 vehicles at the intersection of Stagecoach Road and Millstone Road. Engine 3275 (South) arrived and found one driver suffering from minor injuries and entrapped. The engine crew initiated patient care, stabilized the vehicle, and used hydraulic rescue tools to remove the driver side door. Rescue 3285 assisted with operations. The patient was transported by the Millstone First Aid Squad to Centrastate Medical Center.

The Millstone Township Fire Department, along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to 18 Trenton Lakewood Road for a reported garage fire. Telesqurt 3290 (South) and Tanker 3296 arrived to find smoke showing from a 20 x 30 garage at the rear of the property. The telesqurt crew stretched a 400 foot long distance hand line, comprised of 2.5″ and 1.75″, gained access by cutting the door with the K-12, and located a fire involving the contents. The crew quickly knocked the bulk of the fire down. Deputy Chief J. Wagner (3267) arrived and assumed command. The box assignment consisting of Freehold Independent (16-1), Jackson Mills (54), and New Egypt (39) were recalled, and the assignment was held to Millstone units. The fire was investigated by Fire Official Matt Wagner.
